Why Are We Here?
Chaos Evolving
The Mandelbrot Set, as well as all other Fractals, can be expanded to infinity - growing ever more complex
amidst infinite self-similarity. Such a simple equation. Absolutely exact
and predictable for any given input-output or iteration. And yet the final result is so complex, so unpredictable, so
Chaotic. Sort of like the laws of math and physics (and their daughters chemistry, biology,
psychology, etc..), which govern the Universe.
Absolutely exact and predictable on small scales and local environments, but on large scales with significant
interaction it all becomes unpredictable, so ... chaotic. Perhaps the Universe itself is like that -
one infinite Fractal.......
Could it be that the Creator Of All Things HIMSELF, for all His infinite wisdom and power, does
not, can not, predict or know exactly how it will all turn out!?
A general picture can be seen but exact prediction is impossible.
So He may have known that life would develop on Earth and elsewhere, and eventually become self-aware. But
exactly how, where, when and what form? And what would be it's destiny?
Could it be that the ultimate exact fate of the Universe, as well as any subset within
it, can not be known......
............even to it's very Creator?!
But how can this be you ask? Is not God Infinite and Perfect?
Well, maybe not! "Infinity" and "Perfection" do not exist in nature, they are simply
musings of the human psyche. God is the prime source of all things, The Creator. The Master Chaologist. The
Scriptures say "God is all things", but nowhere is it
mentioned (that I am aware of) that God is "Perfect" or "Infinite". The Universe is very big, but not "infinite".
It makes no sense to think about
what lies "outside the Universe". The Universe is all that there is. Period. Theoretically, one could travel
to the ends of the Universe and back,
round and round forever. But it is finite. Perfection also has no real existence in nature, everything has some flaw(s) in it.
The Prophesies speak in riddles, generalizations, and metaphors; never exact. And they can (and
always have) been interpreted in so many different ways.
Maybe they can't be exact! There is no such thing as fate or destiny!
I have been correlating my interest in chaos theory and it's astounding
implications with Biblical Prophesies, and my life-long fascination with
Free Will and Consciousness. I have begun studying a recently discovered
phenomenon called the "Bible Code", which is a lot of information coded in
the Bible such that only a computer could decipher it - a "time lock" if you
will, information that we were not "supposed" to have until just at this
point in history.
Events that have occured (space shuttle disaster, asteroid hitting Jupiter, the recent hurricanes, JFK assasination to name just a few) have since been
found mentioned in the Bible Code. But how could we have "looked" for them before they happened and known so that we could maybe prepare or do something?
What is the point then? Well, we can, and we are apparently supposed to! The 1995 assasination of then Prime Minister of Israel, Yitzhak Rabin,
was predicted in the Bible Code, and this was known months before the assasination! Attempts were made to warn him, but he shrugged and
laughed it off, just like you may be now. But what if he and others had believed and taken it seriously? Steps could have been taken to avoid it!
Whether or not he lived or died would make little difference in the next days or weeks, but extended over time, the cascade of effects would create two
completely different worlds!
We will all live in the world after his death, but never know the world as it would be had he lived. War or no war. Peace or no peace. A different
direction for Israel, the whole Middle East, and thus the world.
This is the intersection of CHAOS, PROPHESY, and FREE WILL! The future is not written - we have the ability to alter it
every microsecond of our existence by what we do or do not!
We were (are) supposed to have nuclear total war, and the years given in the Bible Code are 1996,
2000, and 2006. Obviously, the first 2 did not happen. What we did or did not do to prevent it will never be known.
This doesn't imply that it has to be then in 2006, it still is simply a possibility - it may
or may not. We decide!
And then some things we will have no control over, but can prepare for anyway. Also in the Bible Code is a prediction for a
great earthquake (the "big one" ?)
in California in 2010, and an impact on Earth by a comet / asteroid in 2012.
Do you know exactly what lies beyond the mountains you see in the distance
from your home? (I live in Colorado).
Probably not. Can you find out? Yes, certainly. Why? Because they exist,
THEY ARE THERE. All you need to do is travel there and lookie-see.
Do you know what the future holds? Probably not. Can you find out? No,
never. Why? Because it does not exist! It is NOT THERE. The future is not
written. There are infinite possibilities dictated by Chaos. You cannot "go
there" or "find out". There is no "there" to go to! This is why I believe
time-travel into the future is not possible, but into the past (and return
only up to the present point) is.
Remember that pretty little butterfly flapping it's wings in the Amazon? The micro air currents set up influenced nearby air etc. etc.
and the result magnified over time and space to eventually cause tornados in Texas to form (or not form!) 6 months later.
Are you NOT active politically because "one person can't make that much difference" or "one vote won't matter" ?
Consider this:
You (one person) write one well written editorial to a major newspaper detailing your stance and opinions on a current contentious
political issue (abortion, taxes, guns, war, etc.). Thousands of people will read or glance over it. It may not change anyone's opinion
directly, but it will be something additional to think about. It may be one of many things to think about on the issue; for the undecided,
it may sway them one way or the other. Some of them then will (may) vote for candidate(s) in the next election based on that person's
stance on the issue, which you may or may not have affected by your editorial.
Most political races are very close, a few hundred (or tens, even single digits) votes can and do make the difference. A Senator or
Congressman (Federal or State) may win or lose because of this then. The balance of power (demopublicans or republicrats) is always
close; one side or the other has a slite advantage at any given time. This new Senator or Congressman will have a marginal but potentially
significant impact on that balance. When votes come to the floor, like whether we should start a war or seal off our borders, this impact
may be felt, swaying the vote and consensus one way or the other.
We may actually eventually go to war and topple a dictator (or not do this) because of this Senator or Congressman, which indirectly
was or was not elected, all traced back to the cascade of chaotic and multiplying effects from your editorial. Starting a war, toppling a
government; the subsequent effects on neighboring countries, perhaps the whole world order over time, can be very significant. Now jump
ahead 30 years. An entirely different world exists because this action occured or did not occur. Of course the path to the
future is singular; noone would ever know this or that should or shouldn't have happened. But whatever happened will happen. And all
because one butterfly wrote one editorial decades earlier! CHAOS. Ponder it.
Now could The Creator have looked at Mankind thousands of years ago, seen our nature, how we interact with each other, the societies we create, etc.,
and then "predicted" what would happen thousands of years foreward, and thus given us the Bible Code and Prophesies to warn us?
They would be like our weather forecasting - accurate over a short time frame but getting more fuzzy the farther into the future.
Could He have seen that we would eventually unlock the secrets of the atom, and with our bellicose nature, be disposed to using nukes in war?
But the exact dates and circumstances would not be known. Thus the warnings in the Bible Code.
My theory sums up like this: The Creator of All Things HIMSELF does not know
EXACTLY how it will all turn out.
Thus prophesies, both the ones in plain text in the Bible, as well as the
new Bible Codes, are generalizations, always with apparent inconsistencies
or multiple outcomes.
THAT is the primary mystery of existence - that is why we are here. That is
what it is all about! The entire Universe is Chaotic in nature, general
predictions can be made (think weather, stock market), but exact predictions
CAN NOT, especially over longer periods of time.
And into this chaotic whilpool is introduced the ultimate unpredicatable
wild-card: Human free-will, our unique gift from The Creator, the knowledge of good and evil and the ability to make the choice; the breath of God
within each of us that separates and distinguishes us from all the other animals. And millions and billions of them acting and
interacting over centuries of time. Yes WE and WE ALONE will decide our
future. THAT is what the Creator is waiting to see.
Jesus is coming! But He (God) does not know exactly when, or how long He will need to wait, or even if He will need to come at all
and clean up our mess and save us from our selves. (I Timothy, 3-14,15)
We are Spirits, given to ride the flesh for a short while. Will we rise and ascend to the Angels? Or fall and succumb to the beast? Our choice. Chaos.
We may still surprise (and please) Him by using the Free Will He has given us, to choose Light and Good over Dark and Evil.
Nonetheless, Rejoice! (and be ready anyway).
